DUBLIN, LONDON & PARIS - 2017

Tour Code - DEP 10 days - DUBLIN to PARIS
Your vacation begins when you arrive in Dublin. Your Local Host will greet you with a warm welcome and help you get settled. You'll receive a packet of information to help you become familiar with the city, so you can begin exploring immediately. The next morning, after included breakfast, we’ll pick you up at your hotel for guided sightseeing with a local expert, someone who knows the history and little-known secrets of the city. Your sightseeing tour features the Old Library at Trinity College, where you’ll see the famous 1,200-year-old Book of Kells, a 9th-century gospel manuscript. A full day in Dublin gives you the opportunity to explore on your own (with the support of your Local Host, of course). Perhaps visit the Guinness Storehouse to see how this famous beer is produced, take a pub crawl tour of some of Dublin's fun pubs, or wander around Grafton Street, the vibrant pedestrian area known for its shops, restaurants, and bars. Or maybe visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral to see the famous Door of Reconciliation involved in the expression “to chance your arm.”

We know you won't want to say goodbye to Dublin, but London and Paris are waiting, so we’ll pick you up at your Dublin hotel and take you to the airport, where you’ll catch an included flight to London. We’ll pick you up at the London airport and take you to your selected hotel. Here, your Local Host will help you get settled and give you information on the city. The next morning, after included breakfast, we’ll pick you up at your hotel for guided sightseeing with a local expert. You'll hear the inside stories around the must-see attractions, such as Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. We’ll take you to St. Paul's Cathedral before arriving in time to see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. A full day in London gives you the opportunity to explore on your own. You may want to visit the Tower of London, built in 1066-1067 by William the Conqueror; take a cruise on the Thames River; ride the famous London Eye for panoramic views of the city; or take in a show in London's West End.

Then, it’s off to Paris. We’ll pick you up at your London hotel and take you to the train station, where you’ll catch the high-speed Eurostar train through the famous Chunnel, an engineering marvel. When you arrive in Paris, we’ll pick you up at the train station and take you to your selected hotel. Your Local Host will help you get settled, so you can start exploring immediately. The next morning, after an included breakfast, we’ll pick you up at your hotel for guided sightseeing with an expert Local Guide. We’ve scouted out the best place to capture a photo of the iconic Eiffel Tower, and we’ll take you there, as well as Notre Dame Cathedral, dating back to 1163. We’ll also take you to the Louvre, the world's most visited art museum with thousands of treasures. But don't worry, we secured VIP access for you, so you can skip the lines and go directly into the museum. After all, why wait in line with the other tourists when you can be up close and personal with Da Vinci's Mona Lisa and the other amazing treasures? During your free time in Paris, you may choose to take an excursion to Normandy and the Landing Beaches or to the Palace of Versailles. Perhaps shop at the Galeries Lafayette, where we have secured shopping discounts for you; enjoy dinner at the Eiffel tower; take a cruise on the Seine River, a beautiful way to see Paris; and wander along the Champs-Elysées at your own pace.

And did we mention we've secured transportation for you between the cities? We've included a flight from Dublin to London and the Eurostar train from London to Paris. We've even included porterage in your train trip. Between the transportations and transfers we've included, the sightseeing and guides we've arranged, and the hotels we've booked, you just have to remember to bring your camera! We've done all the rest, so you don’t have to “chance your arm.” Add the comfort of knowing you’ll have a Local Host in each city to assist you, and you've got yourself a vacation of a lifetime!
